"We are proud to introduce Thinc Product’s Mobile Phone Locker solution with 2 x Swipe-card Access. This innovative solution is the first of its kind and designed specifically for the classroom and school environment.
It is equipped with a RFID Locking system that works with 4 x AA batteries to securely store up to 40 mobile phones. The distinct design of the locker allows it to be easily installed and secured onto any wall, with the included galvanized screws.
The Handy Locker is small and compact weighing in at 14kg. It is 48cm (wide) x 30 cm (high) x 20 cm (depth). It is made of steel, making it strong and durable, and its plexiglass (Acrylic) translucent door allows for clear vision of the stored items.
Each locker comes ready to use and equipped with two pre-programmed swipe cards. Up to thirteen additional swipe cards can be programmed to the same locker, giving schools the flexibility to decide on how many swipe cards per locker. Additionally, each swipe card can be assigned to a single locker or, depending on the school's overall plan, multiple lockers. This allows schools to choose how they want the system to be run and customise it to their individual needs. For example, a school might decide to use a single swipe card to grant access to all the lockers in a faculty, granting teachers convenient and efficient access to all their classes' lockers.
Our recommendation is for the student to place their own phone in the locker under the supervision of a teacher. This displaces any liability or accusation that child may make regarding a staff member handling their phone. The phone slots within the locker are numbered from 1 to 40, making it easy to identify and manage each phone placed in the unit.
